Man wrongly accused of rape - 17yrs old
Pre-accusation:
- 'Normal' life
- Girlfriend
- Part time job
- Doing well at school
- Supportive family
- Lots of friends
Post-accusation:
- Fired from job along with grief and abuse from colleagues
- Police and officials constantly on my case 24/7
- Family don't speak to me
- Kicked out of school
- Spent 3 months in prison
When proven innocent:
- Family don't trust me and speak to me like I'm dirt
- Abused in the streets
- Police still on my case
- Spent many nights away from home
- Suicidal and self harming
- Paranoid
- Eventually hang myself in the park
